First Steps Childcare Agency is a Box-based agency connecting qualified, professional childcarers with busy families.

Their old website had become broken and the business owner Rebal Farr was struggling to find someone in IT who could help. 

They now have a custom, bespoke website application that allows members of the public to register and create their own account.

The website saves time and money by automating many aspects of the business.

• The project took just over 100 hours
• creating separate sections for nannies and families
• creating an administrator section and different roles.
• custom code to handle the upload and download of CVs
• creating custom tools for generating and parsing RSS feeds
• custom geolocation tools to turn postcodes into lat/long coords

After having a brief meeting and becoming aware of what is available and, more importantly, within her budget, Rebal asked wiredbanner.com to go ahead and design, build and host the business website. 

And, what's more, since going live over the past few days, there is now a constant stream of new members signing up and posting CVs.
